Voice Actor / Voice-Over Artist — Irish English (AI Speech Training)

About the Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of Irish English speakers around the world? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with authentic Irish accents to take part in paid studio recording sessions for a leading AI speech research project.

This is a unique, well-compensated contract role for a small number of talented voice professionals. Your voice won't be cloned — it will be used to help AI systems better understand the natural rhythms, cadence, and character of real Irish English speech.

What You'll Do

  • Record natural, conversational Irish English speech in a professional studio environment
  • Participate in both solo single-speaker sessions and paired dual-speaker dialogue recordings
  • Bring dialogue to life in a way that sounds authentic, unscripted, and human
  • Follow light direction to vary tone, pacing, and delivery as needed
  • Help AI systems learn the genuine sound of Irish English — not a caricature of it

Who You Are

  • A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with real recording experience
  • A native or near-native Irish English speaker — your accent is authentic and natural
  • Currently based in Ireland
  • Comfortable performing natural conversational dialogue, not just formal narration
  • Receptive to direction, reliable, and easy to work with in a studio setting
  • Confident performing both solo and paired dialogue formats

  • Acting or performance background
  • Experience in broadcast, podcast production, or commercial voice work
  • Prior studio recording credits or a voice portfolio
