2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials on REMOWORK's website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial)
Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the website
Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by REMOWORK at any time.

Further, REMOWORK does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.

4. Limitations

In no event shall REMOWORK or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on REMOWORK's website.

Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

The materials appearing on REMOWORK's website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. REMOWORK does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current. REMOWORK may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice.

REMOWORK has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by REMOWORK of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user's own risk.

7. Modifications

REMOWORK may revise these terms of service for its website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on or through the website ("User Content"). By submitting, posting, or displaying User Content on or through the website, you grant REMOWORK a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute such User Content.

You are responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that you have all rights, power, and authority necessary to grant the rights granted herein to any User Content that you submit.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the website:

In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation
To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material without our prior written consent
To impersonate or attempt to impersonate the company, a company employee, another user, or any other person or entity
In any way that infringes upon the rights of others, or in any way is illegal, threatening, fraudulent, or harmful
To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the website

10. Intellectual Property Rights

The website and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of REMOWORK and its licensors. The website is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the website will cease immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which REMOWORK operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

13. Paid Subscriptions & Billing

REMOWORK offers paid subscription plans for both talent (Pro, Pro Max) and hirers (Pro Hirer), as well as one-time add-on purchases such as featured job listings and message credit packs. All payments are processed by Paystack; REMOWORK does not store full card numbers on its own servers.

Auto-renewal: Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until cancelled.
Cancellation: You can cancel any active subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period. Your paid features remain active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
No refunds: Subscription fees already charged for the current period, and all à-la-carte purchases (featured listings, message credits), are non-refundable.
Failed renewals: If a renewal payment fails and is not resolved within the grace period offered by our payment processor, the account is downgraded to the free tier and paid features become unavailable until billing is restored.
Price changes: We may change subscription prices with notice; existing subscribers will be notified before any new price takes effect on their next renewal.

14. AI-Assisted Content & Tools

Several REMOWORK features — including the resume builder, ATS checker, cover letter writer, mock interview, interview prep, skills assessment, salary negotiation tool, headshot generator, and email template editor — produce output using third-party AI providers (currently including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, and Groq). Portions of our blog content are also AI-drafted under human editorial review and translated into other languages using machine translation.

User inputs are sent to AI providers: When you use an AI tool, the inputs you provide (such as resume text, job descriptions, interview answers, or image-generation prompts) are transmitted to the relevant provider for processing. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
Output is provided as-is: AI output is generated probabilistically and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or factual errors. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content before using it in real-world applications, interviews, or external correspondence.
No professional advice: AI tool output does not constitute legal, financial, medical, or career counseling. It is informational only.
Acceptable use: You may not use REMOWORK's AI tools to generate content that is unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or designed to circumvent another platform's rules (e.g., misrepresenting AI-generated work as human-written where prohibited).

15. Hirer Terms (Talent Unlock & Messages)

If you use REMOWORK as a hirer or employer, the following additional terms apply:

Talent profile unlock: Public talent profiles in the directory are searchable by any hirer. When you pay to unlock a profile, that profile's contact details (such as email) become visible to your hirer account for the purpose of legitimate recruitment outreach. Unlocking a profile does not grant ownership, exclusivity, or any right to share the contact information outside of your hiring activity on REMOWORK.
Message credits: Message credits purchased à la carte or included with Pro Hirer are non-transferable between accounts and are forfeited if your subscription is cancelled or your account is terminated. Unused monthly Pro Hirer messages do not roll over to the next billing period.
Featured listings: Featured job listings run for the duration purchased (typically 30 days). Featured listings are non-refundable once activated.
Job posting policy: All jobs posted on REMOWORK must be genuinely remote (fully remote or remote with optional travel) and must not require on-site or hybrid attendance. Listings that violate this policy may be removed without refund.
Anti-spam: Unlocked contact details may not be used for bulk solicitations, marketing not related to the role advertised, or any communication that violates anti-spam laws applicable to you or the recipient.

16. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for any of the following reasons (this list is illustrative, not exhaustive):

Violation of these Terms & Conditions or any policy linked from them
Fraudulent payment activity, chargebacks made in bad faith, or use of stolen payment instruments
Abuse of AI tools, including prompt-injection attempts, attempts to extract training data, or use of the tools to generate disallowed content
Automated scraping, scraping circumvention, or unauthorized API access
Harassment, hate speech, or threatening behavior in messages, community forums, or reviews
Posting jobs that are not legitimately remote, or that are deceptive, discriminatory, or unlawful
Impersonation of another person or company
Repeated copyright or trademark infringement

Where practical we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure; we may act immediately and without notice when conduct is severe, fraudulent, or poses a risk to other users.
