3.1 Service Providers

We share limited information with third-party service providers who perform specific functions on our behalf. The current set of providers and what they receive:

Payment processing — Paystack: billing details, plan codes, and subscription state. Full card numbers are never stored on REMOWORK servers.
Transactional email — Resend: your email address and the content of transactional emails (account verification, password resets, job-alert digests, application updates).
Newsletter delivery — Mailchimp: if you opt in to the newsletter, your email address and first name are stored in Mailchimp for the purpose of sending newsletter campaigns and tracking opens/clicks.
AI tool providers — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Groq: when you use a career tool (resume builder, cover letter, ATS checker, mock interview, headshot generator, etc.), the inputs you provide are sent to the relevant provider for processing. We use these providers' standard APIs and do not authorise them to use your inputs to train their models where opt-out is available.
Image hosting — Cloudinary: profile pictures, company logos, and tool-generated headshots are stored and served from Cloudinary.
Error monitoring — Sentry: when a server or browser error occurs, a stack trace and limited request context (URL, user-agent, account ID) are sent to Sentry to help us diagnose and fix bugs.
CDN, geo, and abuse protection — Cloudflare: all traffic to remowork.life passes through Cloudflare. Cloudflare receives request IP/country headers, which we use for signup country detection, regional content, and abuse mitigation.
Analytics — Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google Search Console, Google AdSense: see Section 4 below for details on cookies and tracking.
Hosting infrastructure — DigitalOcean and MongoDB Atlas: application servers and database storage. Your account data is stored encrypted at rest in MongoDB Atlas.

3.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

3.3 With Your Consent

We may share your information with third parties when you have given us explicit consent to do so.

3.4 Hirer Access to Talent Profiles

If you have a talent (job-seeker) account and your profile visibility is set to public, the following applies:

Your public profile (name, skills, languages, country, work history summary) is searchable by any hirer account.
When a hirer pays to unlock your profile, your contact details (email and any other contact info you've added) become visible to that hirer for the purpose of recruitment outreach.
You can hide your profile from the directory at any time from your dashboard by changing Profile visibility to private. Once hidden, your profile no longer appears in hirer searches; existing unlocks already granted to specific hirers remain valid for those hirers.
Hirers are bound by our Terms & Conditions to use unlocked contact information only for legitimate recruitment outreach.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our website and store certain information.

Essential Cookies: Required for the website to function properly
Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors interact with our website (including Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity)

4.1 Analytics Partners

We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products and services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising.
