Generative AI Associate

Innodata is seeking Generative AI Associates to support the development, evaluation, and improvement of large language models and generative AI systems.

This is a remote, flexible, project-based opportunity designed for contributors interested in helping shape the future of AI through human evaluation, annotation, reasoning, and language-focused tasks.

Contributors will participate in Innodata’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Demand program and work on projects supporting leading AI companies and generative AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Rate and assess AI model outputs based on project guidelines

• Label and categorize:

  • Text
  • Images
  • Audio
  • Video
  • Search content
  • AI-generated responses

• Evaluate:

  • Content quality
  • Relevance
  • Appropriateness
  • Accuracy

• Create prompts and questions for language models

• Generate and review AI-generated responses

• Rewrite content to improve:

  • Clarity
  • Style
  • Guideline adherence

• Produce summaries of longer content

• Perform:

  • Data annotation
  • Data collection
  • Ranking tasks
  • Relevance evaluation

• Transcribe audio and translate text where required

• Apply data augmentation techniques such as:

  • Text paraphrasing
  • Image modifications
  • Audio transformations

• Identify whether AI features or outputs function according to project requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a humanities-related field
• Advanced degrees such as:
  • Master’s
  • PhD

are strongly preferred.

• Professional or expert-level English proficiency (C1/C2)

• Strong:

  • Critical thinking
  • Communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical reasoning

• Ability to work independently in remote environments

• Comfort following detailed guidelines and evaluation frameworks
