Job description
TELUS Digital is building a global community of experts to support the development and evaluation of advanced Artificial Intelligence systems.
We are seeking AI, Machine Learning, Research and Subject-Matter Experts to support an upcoming Recursive Self-Improvement (RSI) Training and Ready-Made Dataset Procurement initiative. This opportunity is particularly suited to experts who can combine technical knowledge, research capability, critical thinking and dataset evaluation to identify high-quality resources for advanced AI training.
What You’ll Do
Depending on your area of expertise, you may be asked to:
- Research existing, ready-made datasets relevant to advanced AI training and evaluation
- Identify datasets that meet specific technical, research or domain requirements
- Assess dataset quality, relevance, complexity and completeness
- Evaluate whether datasets are suitable for AI reasoning, learning and self-improvement
- Review dataset structure, metadata, provenance and licensing considerations
- Identify potential quality issues, duplication, contamination or limitations
- Compare multiple datasets against defined selection criteria
- Recommend the most suitable datasets for potential procurement
- Provide clear, evidence-based justification for your recommendations
- Identify gaps and suggest additional resources where required
- Support advanced AI training and evaluation initiatives
