We're looking for Biology experts with advanced degrees to help build and train cutting-edge AI models. You'll bring real scientific depth to complex problems, helping AI systems reason more accurately across the biological sciences.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed around your schedule. No prior AI experience needed — just rigorous scientific expertise and a sharp analytical mind.

What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
- Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related areas to design complex, meaningful problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated scientific content for accuracy, depth, and rigor
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to enhance model reasoning in the life sciences
- Ensure scientific clarity and intellectual integrity across all deliverables
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Hold a Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, etc.)
- Deeply knowledgeable in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
- Comfortable working with Python or R for research or data analysis
- Exceptionally clear in both written and verbal scientific communication
- Detail-oriented, methodical, and committed to scientific rigor
- Based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
- Background in scientific writing, peer review, or academic publishing
- Familiarity with computational biology tools or research pipelines
- Experience designing or reviewing research problems for educational or assessment purposes
