TaskUs is a global business-process-outsourcing (BPO) and digital-services company that provides customer experience (CX), Trust & Safety (content moderation), risk and response, and AI services (including data annotation) to many of the world's fastest-growing technology companies. The company delivers through tens of thousands of frontline "teammates" across the Philippines, India, the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Taiwan, and other locations. TaskUs completed its IPO on Nasdaq (ticker TASK) in June 2021 at $23 per share, and in 2025 it agreed to be taken private again in a transaction led by Blackstone together with co-founders Maddock and Weir, returning it to private ownership. Blackstone has been an investor in the business since 2018.

Qualifications

TaskUs hires two broad populations. (1) Frontline delivery "teammates": customer-experience agents, content moderators and Trust & Safety analysts, and AI data annotators/labelers, hired in large volume at delivery sites in the Philippines, India, Mexico, Colombia, and elsewhere. Many of these roles are site-based or hybrid, though some markets offer work-from-home; pay follows local market rates for the country. (2) Corporate and specialist roles: operations and program management, technology and engineering, data science, solutions, sales, HR/people, finance, and G&A, based around the US (New Braunfels/San Antonio) and regional hubs, with some remote-eligible positions.
