Transcriptionist - Spanish

A leading experience management company is seeking experienced Spanish Transcriptionists to support multiple Spanish transcription and ASR validation projects.

This is a remote, part-time contract role focused on producing high-quality transcription data across audio sources containing:

• Multiple accents
• Background noise
• Crosstalk
• Multi-speaker conversations

The role requires strong attention to detail, fast and accurate typing, and the ability to consistently deliver transcription work within project deadlines and quality standards.

This assignment is expected to last 1 year with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Listen to and transcribe Spanish and English audio content accurately

• Produce transcription data aligned with strict style guides and formatting conventions

• Handle audio containing:

  • Multiple speakers
  • Background noise
  • Different accents
  • Dual-channel audio

• Perform quality control checks including:

  • Spelling validation
  • Formatting review
  • Guideline adherence

• Timestamp speakers accurately and track speaker/channel changes

• Work with cloud-based environments for:

  • File uploads
  • File downloads
  • Data storage
  • Secure data handling

• Collaborate with:

  • Project leads
  • Team members
  • Management teams

• Maintain confidentiality and meet weekly transcription quotas

Required Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Spanish

• Fluency in English

• Minimum 2 years of transcription experience

• Ability to transcribe:

  • Spanish audio
  • English audio

• Typing speed:

  • 75+ WPM
  • 98%+ accuracy

• Experience with:

  • Transcription software
  • Style guides
  • Timestamping
  • Multi-speaker transcription

• Ability to:

  • Identify speakers accurately
  • Work independently
  • Meet deadlines consistently

• Familiarity with:

  • Slack
  • Cloud-based workflows
  • Remote collaboration tools

• Strong:

  • Communication skills

  • Time management abilities

Additional Information

• Part-time role:

  • 20 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday during standard business hours
