Job description

Freelance position for SMEs to provide review on translation projects processed at Argos Multilingual.

SME Review tesk: Monolingual review of the subject content/terminology in the target text by a product expert (end user of the specific device, product manager, application specialist, practitioner), in his/her native language. Not being a linguist, SME concentrates on the content and terms used in the translated text. SME review does not include linguistic review or comparison of translation against the source text.

The projects are quoted hourly

We are looking for a native Finnish practicing doctor or certified nurse for the SME review of medical documentation

Line of business: Practicing Doctor, Certified Nurse; Hematologist - definitely with education in a life-sciences related field

Fields of expertise: Healthcare, Life Sciences, Clinical procedures and safety measures, Clinical devices

Additional requirements:

- Prior experience with Subject Matter Expert Review (also called: in-country review, SME validation)
(optional but relevant)

- Strong research skills (focus on terminology, accuracy)

- Good communication skills (proactiveness in raising queries)

- Efficient time management skills (timely delivery and review feedback processing)
