Role Overview
Turing is seeking experienced Finance Experts to provide omnichannel chat support for small and medium-sized business (SMB) owners. In this fully remote contractor role, you will answer finance and accounting questions, provide bookkeeping guidance, analyze financial data, and help resolve complex accounting inquiries using your expertise with QuickBooks Online.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced accountants, bookkeepers, finance professionals, and SMB financial advisors who enjoy solving complex financial problems while contributing to AI-powered support systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Financial Support
- Respond to customer inquiries through omnichannel chat platforms.
- Assist SMB business owners with accounting and bookkeeping questions.
- Deliver accurate financial guidance based on customer needs.
Solve Accounting Queries
- Handle complex, data-driven accounting and bookkeeping questions.
- Interpret financial records and provide well-supported responses.
- Apply accounting principles to resolve customer issues effectively.
Analyze Financial Data
- Review and interpret financial information to support customer inquiries.
- Perform financial analysis to deliver accurate recommendations.
- Complete PowerPoint-based project tasks as assigned.
Maintain Service Quality
- Deliver clear, professional, and accurate written communication.
- Work independently while managing high volumes of finance-related requests.
- Contribute to high-quality AI-assisted financial support projects.
Required Qualifications
Active user of QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Professional experience in:
- Accounting
- Bookkeeping
Previous experience providing omnichannel chat support.
Strong understanding of:
- Financial analysis
- Accounting principles
- Bookkeeping
- Data analysis
Ability to resolve complex, data-heavy accounting questions.
Experience supporting small and medium-sized businesses is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
SMB business owner with hands-on accounting experience.
Previous experience supporting AI or domain-specific projects.
Experience managing high-volume accounting support requests.
Compensation

- Minimum 4 hours per day
- Up to 40 hours per week
- Approximately 4-month engagement
- Requires 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Time (PST)
