About the Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI communicates with Italian speakers around the world? We're looking for experienced Italian-speaking voice actors to record expressive, professional-grade audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping the next generation of AI systems sound genuinely human.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed — just a trained voice, a quiet space, and a passion for authentic performance.

What You'll Do
- Record clear, expressive Italian-language audio using a large diaphragm microphone (LDM), following provided scripts and prompts
- Evaluate AI-generated speech for natural flow, pronunciation accuracy, and emotional authenticity
- Deliver detailed, actionable feedback to improve the quality of synthesized voice outputs
- Review scripts and recommend adjustments to enhance clarity and ensure natural-sounding delivery
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobooks, dubbing, or related performance audio work
- Native or near-native fluency in Italian with a strong command of natural, idiomatic speech
- Equipped with a large diaphragm microphone and access to a quiet, acoustically controlled recording environment
- Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated vocal performances consistently
- Attuned to nuance — you notice subtle differences in tone, pacing, and pronunciation
- No prior AI or tech experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with studio recording, broadcast, or professional voice-over production
- Familiarity with regional Italian dialects or accent variations
- Background in linguistics, theatre, radio, or audiovisual performance
- Prior experience evaluating audio quality or providing production feedback
