About the Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of Italian speakers around the world? We're looking for experienced Italian-language voice actors to record professional-grade audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping train next-generation AI systems to sound more natural, expressive, and human.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed — just a commanding Italian voice, a professional recording setup, and a sharp ear for quality.

Note: This role supports AI speech development and does not involve voice cloning of any kind.
What You'll Do
- Record clear, expressive Italian-language audio using a large diaphragm microphone (LDM), following provided scripts and prompts
- Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech for natural flow, pronunciation accuracy, and emotional authenticity
- Provide detailed, actionable feedback to improve synthesized voice outputs
- Review scripts and suggest adjustments to enhance clarity and ensure natural-sounding delivery
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobooks, dubbing, or related performance-based audio work
- Native or near-native fluency in Italian
- Equipped with a large diaphragm microphone and a quiet, acoustically controlled recording environment
- Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated vocal performances consistently
- Naturally attuned to nuance in tone, clarity, pacing, and pronunciation
- Comfortable evaluating spoken language quality with a critical, trained ear
Nice to Have
- Experience with voice direction, script analysis, or vocal coaching
- Familiarity with audio editing software or digital audio workstations (DAWs)
- Exposure to AI voice tools, text-to-speech systems, or speech evaluation workflows
- Knowledge of regional Italian dialects or pronunciation variations
