We're looking for Mathematics Specialists with advanced degrees to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models — crafting rigorous problems, stress-testing AI reasoning, and raising the bar for mathematical intelligence in AI systems used by millions.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for people who live and breathe mathematics. No AI background needed — just deep subject-matter expertise and a commitment to precision.

What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance and rigorous structure
- Apply your expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related fields to design complex, meaningful problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated mathematical reasoning for correctness, clarity, and depth
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to improve model performance
- Ensure mathematical rigor and precision across all deliverables
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in one or more areas: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics
- Comfortable coding in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or applied projects
- Exceptionally detail-oriented — you catch errors others miss and hold your work to a high standard
- Strong written communicator who can explain complex concepts with clarity
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or AI evaluation workflows
- Background in academic research, applied mathematics, or quantitative fields
- Experience developing curriculum, assessments, or technical content
- Familiarity with AI tools or mathematical reasoning benchmarks
