Alignerr

AI & Data Training Contractor · Part-time
Remote (Global) $35 – $55/hr May 27, 2026

Job description

Health Policy & Management – AI Content Specialist

About the Role

Your public health expertise is more valuable than ever — and not just in traditional settings. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to build models that people will rely on for health information, policy guidance, and epidemiological insight.

We're looking for Masters in Public Health (MPH) professionals to help us get it right. You'll work directly with large language models, stress-testing their understanding of population health, biostatistics, and health equity — and training them to deliver accurate, evidence-based, and ethically sound responses.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role that lets you apply your graduate-level expertise in a high-impact, cutting-edge domain.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design Complex Public Health Scenarios — Create advanced prompts and cases involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, and statistical interpretation of clinical trial data
  • Author Ground-Truth Responses — Write rigorous, step-by-step solutions grounded in peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and authoritative guidelines (CDC, WHO, and others)
  • Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for factual accuracy, logical consistency, bias, and adherence to ethical standards
  • Refine Model Reasoning — Provide structured feedback that helps AI distinguish correlation from causation, communicate risk appropriately, and adapt messaging for diverse populations

Who You Are

Required:

  • Graduate degree in Public Health (MPH, MSPH) or a closely related field
  • Strong foundational knowledge in at least two core areas: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy
  • Ability to translate complex health data into clear, accurate, and culturally sensitive written content
  • High attention to detail — especially around statistical significance, data citations, and intervention logic
  • No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with data annotation, quality assurance, or evaluation workflows
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
  • Background in health communication, clinical research coordination, or public health surveillance

Why Join Us

  • Work on meaningful projects at the frontier of AI development
  • Fully remote and asynchronous — work on your own schedule
  • Freelance flexibility with real intellectual challenge
  • Direct engagement with industry-leading language models
  • Potential for ongoing contract renewals and expanded projects
  • Be part of a global network of subject-matter experts shaping how AI handles high-stakes health topics
