Role Title: CATIA CAD Engineering Specialist

Role Type: Contractor

Location: Remote

micro1 is looking for an experienced CATIA Specialist with strong hands-on experience in CAD modeling and mechanical engineering to support an AI training project.

In this role, you will use CATIA to complete real-world engineering design tasks and explain your workflows step by step. Your expertise will help improve how AI systems understand CAD design and engineering processes.

Scope of Work

  1. Create and edit 3D CAD models and mechanical parts using CATIA.
  2. Work on part design, assembly modeling, surface modeling, and engineering drawings.
  3. Demonstrate real-world CAD design and engineering workflows.
  4. Clearly explain and document each step of your design process.
  5. Review technical tasks and provide feedback to support AI model improvement.
  6. Ensure accuracy and quality in all completed tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Professional hands-on experience using CATIA.
  2. Good understanding of mechanical design, 3D CAD modeling, and assemblies.
  3. Must currently have access to CATIA.
  4. Ability to explain technical workflows clearly.
  5. Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  6. Background in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  7. Experience working on professional CAD or engineering projects.
