Job description

Marketing Product Manager (Contract)

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned consumer marketer to drive integrated go-to-market strategies and end-to-end paid digital campaigns for one of the most widely used consumer products in the technology industry. This is a high-impact, fixed-term engagement within a large, matrixed organization where browser share is a critical driver of the broader consumer ecosystem strategy. The ideal candidate brings a proven consumer marketing playbook, thrives in fast-moving environments, and can begin contributing independently from day one. You will collaborate closely with Product, Creative, Media, Growth, Analytics, PR, and Business Planning teams to transform product features and seasonal moments into compelling consumer campaigns that shift everyday habits and deliver measurable business outcomes. This role demands equal parts strategic thinking and hands-on execution — from writing creative briefs and setting channel investment priorities to tracking live performance and presenting optimization recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build integrated consumer go-to-market plans for product launches, feature releases, seasonal and cultural moments, and growth initiatives
  • Map the full consumer journey across awareness, consideration, acquisition, activation, and retention, connecting channel tactics at each stage
  • Translate consumer insights, product priorities, and business goals into clear campaign strategies, consumer messaging, and creative briefs
  • Identify opportunities to connect campaigns with broader consumer moments across owned channels and ecosystem launches
  • Run consumer campaigns end-to-end: briefing, channel planning, creative development, launch, in-flight optimization, and wrap-up reporting
  • Set channel mix and investment priorities across paid search, paid social, display/programmatic, online video, creator, and owned channels to support a unified full-funnel plan
  • Partner with Creative and Media teams to develop consumer-facing concepts and assets that differentiate the product in a competitive market
  • Coordinate launch readiness across Product, Creative, Growth, Media, PR, and partner teams
  • Optimize campaigns for consumer engagement, habit formation, and retention in addition to acquisition
  • Establish success metrics, KPIs, and measurement plans in advance of each campaign launch
  • Monitor live campaign performance across channels and funnel stages, reallocating budget and removing friction where needed
  • Collaborate with Growth, Product, and Analytics teams to diagnose funnel performance and prioritize improvements
  • Deliver clear, data-driven performance readouts and recommendations that connect campaign results to consumer behavior and business outcomes

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of consumer (B2C) marketing experience in go-to-market or integrated marketing roles for consumer products, apps, or digital services

  • 5+ years of hands-on paid digital campaign management across paid search, paid social, programmatic/display, and online video

  • 5+ years of campaign performance measurement and funnel analysis experience, including KPI development, A/B testing, and executive-level performance readouts

  • Demonstrated track record of leading integrated consumer campaigns at scale within large, matrixed organizations

  • Experience using consumer insights and performance data to influence strategic decisions across cross-functional teams

  • Experience in consumer technology, browsers, search, or digital services is strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with consumer growth levers such as app store optimization and conversion rate experimentation is a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Portfolio of paid digital consumer campaign work required for assessment process

  • Deep expertise in integrated consumer go-to-market planning across paid, owned, earned, social, and creator channels

  • Hands-on proficiency in paid search, paid social, display/programmatic, and online video campaign management from planning through optimization

  • Strong understanding of full-funnel consumer marketing and how to connect upper-funnel awareness to lower-funnel conversion and long-term retention

  • Campaign performance measurement and funnel analysis, including KPI setting, A/B testing, and performance reporting

  • Ability to translate complex product ideas into simple, compelling consumer narratives and creative briefs

  • Analytical rigor and comfort working with performance data, experimentation frameworks, and growth funnels

  • Proven ability to build alignment across large, cross-functional teams without direct authority

  • Strong self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently, learn new environments quickly, and contribute from the first week

  • Comfort collaborating across US and UK time zones
