AI Filmmaker

• Create story-driven short films (up to 10 minutes each) in English, entirely with AI tools, for overseas social platforms such as X and TikTok.
• Handle the full workflow independently: story concept, script, AI visual generation, storyboarding, video generation and post-production editing.
• Keep characters and scenes consistent across shots and episodes.
• Review AI-generated images and video clips for visual quality, character consistency and storytelling effect, and regenerate or fix them where needed.
• Write and keep the process materials: script drafts and revisions, concept designs, master images and blocking diagrams, director-level storyboards, execution prompts and generation logs.
• Document review and targeted revision rounds, and give structured written feedback on tools and outputs.
• Follow project guidelines, take part in calibration and review sessions, and incorporate feedback to keep quality consistent.

Required Qualifications

• A portfolio of completed, purely AI-generated short films with clear storylines, made for overseas audiences (drama, fantasy, sci-fi, comedy or twist-driven stories preferred).
• Strong storytelling for social platforms: a hook in the opening seconds, fast pacing and memorable moments.
• Proven ability to run a project end to end, from idea to final cut, as an independent creator, director or small team.
• Original files and project files kept and traceable, and willingness to share works and production-process data once the scope of authorisation is confirmed.
• Able to deliver multiple videos on an ongoing basis.
• Fluent written English.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Published AI story content on X, TikTok, Instagram or YouTube Shorts.
• Experience using several AI image, video and audio tools within one workflow.
• Experience directing or supervising a production team.

• Do not submit material covered by an employer, client or third-party confidentiality agreement, or material you have no right to share.
• Do not submit export-controlled, military or defence-related technical data.
• Remove credentials, secrets and personal data from anything you submit.
• Rex may ask for evidence of ownership or licence, may verify submissions, and may reject or remove any submission.

• Do not submit confidential or proprietary material belonging to an employer, client or third party, or personal data without a lawful basis.
• Rex may verify identity, credentials, ownership and licensing; may reject or remove any submission; and may report unlawful submissions to the relevant authorities.
• Engagement and payment are subject to successful verification and to applicable sanctions, export-control, tax and employment laws.
• The contractor agreement will set out ownership and licence terms for the work you deliver (to be confirmed by Rex Legal).
