RemoExperts
Expert-level AI training platform connecting PhDs, engineers, creative professionals, and domain specialists with advanced AI development projects.
What is RemoExperts?
RemoExperts (rex.zone) is an AI talent platform designed to connect qualified remote professionals with advanced AI development projects. The platform leverages human expertise to power AI breakthroughs by providing high-quality, human-driven insights for machine learning systems. Tasks span data annotation and evaluation for NLP, vision, speech, and multimodal models, model output assessment through Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), prompt writing and refinement, safety rating, named entity recognition (NER), and computer vision labeling. RemoExperts recruits world-class experts across multiple disciplines — including PhD researchers, software engineers, creative professionals (cinematographers, Photoshop and After Effects specialists), financial analysts, actuarial and insurance professionals, linguists, and literature writers. The platform operates on a fully remote, flexible model allowing contributors to work from any country and time zone. Compensation ranges from $25–$65 per hour depending on project complexity and expertise level. Contributors can earn "Superhuman Profiles" recognizing achievements and consistency, which unlock higher rates and access to advanced projects.
Mission & values
Connect the world's top subject-matter experts with frontier-AI projects — data annotation, model evaluation, RLHF, prompt writing, safety rating, and creative generation — at industry-leading rates (especially for non-US/EU experts).
Qualifications
RemoExperts emphasizes selective onboarding with entry exams, position-specific assessments, and identity verification. A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, with specialized roles preferring master's or PhD credentials. For Generalist AI Trainer roles, native or near-native English fluency with exceptional writing and communication skills is required, along with a degree in a writing-intensive or technical field (English, Journalism, Computer Science, Linguistics). Coding roles require proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript, and experience as an AI Trainer or Data Annotator working with large language models is preferred. Entry-level to senior positions are available — mid-level trainers typically have 3–5 years of experience, and senior trainers 6+ years. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to follow complex guidelines are essential across all roles. The application process involves creating a talent profile on rex.zone, listing domain strengths, and completing a skills assessment, after which matched applicants receive project briefs and pilot tasks. Payments are processed monthly via Stripe, Payoneer, or Wise.
