We are looking for contributors based in Malaysia and Indonesia to join a short-term remote project helping train next-generation AI vision systems.
Your task in this project is to record first-person (egocentric) videos of your everyday activities using your smartphone. These recordings help AI better understand how people naturally interact with objects and navigate daily environments from a human perspective.
If you're comfortable recording your daily activities, detail-oriented, and can commit a few hours each day, this project is for you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Record first-person (egocentric) videos using your smartphone
- Capture a variety of daily household and residential activities following the project guidelines
- Ensure recordings meet the required quality, duration, framing, and environmental requirements
- Upload completed recordings through the designated platform
- Follow project guidelines to maintain high-quality submissions
- Re-record videos when requested to meet quality standards
- Communicate actively with the Project Manager through Discord
- Complete assigned daily recording targets throughout the project period

Project Details
- Duration: Approximately 3 weeks
- Time commitment: Around 4–6 hours per day
- Daily target: 15 video recordings per day
- Average Handling Time (AHT): Approximately 15–20 minutes per recording
- Onboarding Training: Mandatory (TBD, office hour 9am-6pm MYT)
- Working hours: Flexible (daily targets must be completed within the assigned deadline)
- Project Period: 20 July – 7 August 2026
Pay Rate
- Execution: USD 3 per ACCEPTED hour recording
- Quality Control (QC): USD 0.25 per accepted recording hour
What Do I Need?
Device Requirements
Own one of the following supported smartphones:
iPhone 12 or newer
Samsung Galaxy S21 or newer
Google Pixel 7 or newer
Comfortable installing and using mobile applications if required
Able to troubleshoot basic smartphone or application issues independently
Willing to purchase the required headset (reimbursement status to be confirmed)
Project Requirements
- Based in Malaysia or Indonesia
- Able to commit throughout the entire project period (20 July – 7 August 2026)
- Available to complete approximately 15 recordings per day (1-3 minutes per recording)
- Comfortable recording everyday activities from a first-person perspective inside residential environments
- Reliable, consistent, and able to follow daily recording schedules
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions precisely
- Open to feedback and willing to re-record videos when required
- Active on Discord for daily communication and project updates
