Job description
OpenClaw Security Expert & Power User
About the Role
If you've ever looked at a system and instinctively thought about how to break it — this role was built for you. We're looking for security-minded professionals to stress-test AI systems built on the OpenClaw platform. You'll conduct real red-teaming exercises, craft adversarial prompts, and deliver expert feedback that directly shapes the safety and robustness of AI products used at scale.
This is hands-on, high-impact work at the intersection of cybersecurity and AI — one of the fastest-growing and most consequential domains in tech.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Conduct red-teaming exercises to identify security weaknesses and edge cases in AI systems
- Craft adversarial prompts and creative attack scenarios to probe model guardrails
- Evaluate AI outputs for safety issues, bias, and policy compliance
- Document vulnerabilities, exploits, and unexpected behaviors in clear, structured reports
- Collaborate asynchronously with engineering teams to recommend practical mitigations
- Stay current on emerging AI security threats, jailbreak techniques, and evolving best practices
- Help define and refine security evaluation rubrics and testing protocols
Who You Are
- You have a solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts — threat modeling, penetration testing, or ethical hacking
- You've worked hands-on with AI/ML systems, LLMs, or prompt engineering
- You're a creative, analytical thinker who enjoys breaking things in order to make them better
- You communicate clearly in writing and can document technical findings for diverse audiences
- You're self-directed and comfortable working independently on asynchronous, task-based assignments
- Familiarity with the OpenClaw ecosystem or similar open-source AI platforms is a bonus
- A background in infosec, ethical hacking, or AI safety research is a plus — but not required
Why This Role Stands Out
- Real impact: Your findings directly improve the safety and reliability of AI products used by millions
- Cutting-edge domain: Work at the frontier of AI security alongside top research teams
- Full autonomy: Set your own schedule and work from anywhere in the world
- Build rare expertise: Gain deep, practical experience in AI red-teaming — a skill set in extremely high demand
- Ongoing opportunity: Strong performers are considered for expanded scope and contract extensions
- Collaborative community: Connect and collaborate with a global network of security and AI professionals
