Accountabilities:
- Build and manage a portfolio of new business accounts across multiple industries, helping organizations adopt innovative AI-powered solutions.
- Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities.
- Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, relationship building, negotiation, and closing.
- Partner with internal sales and go-to-market teams to build a scalable Canadian sales strategy and contribute to market expansion.
- Understand customer challenges and identify opportunities where conversational AI can improve user engagement, automation, operational efficiency, or revenue generation.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the AI technology landscape, customer use cases, competitive solutions, and evolving market trends.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across organizations, including business, product, engineering, and innovation teams.
- Act as a customer advocate by gathering insights, communicating feedback internally, and helping shape future product and commercial strategies.
- Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets through disciplined pipeline management and proactive business development.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of sales experience within a SaaS, technology, AI, or software company environment.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong experience building and managing self-sourced sales pipelines through outbound prospecting and strategic account development.
- Experience selling technical solutions to product, engineering, innovation, or enterprise stakeholders is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate independently, take ownership, and thrive in an environment with high autonomy and evolving priorities.
- Strong business development mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, understand customer needs, and create value-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Customer-focused approach with a balance of commercial ambition and long-term partnership building.
- Strong interest in artificial intelligence, voice technology, and emerging software trends, with the curiosity and ability to quickly learn new concepts.
- Experience with AI, generative AI, large language models, or API-based products is an asset.
- Bilingual English/French communication skills are considered a plus.
