AI & Data Training Contractor
Remote (Global) $35 – $55/hr June 10, 2026

Job description

Health Policy & Management — AI Content Specialist

About the Role

Your public health expertise can do more than inform policy reports — it can shape how millions of people receive health information through AI. We're partnering with leading AI research labs to build models that understand population health, epidemiology, and health equity at a graduate level. We need MPH professionals like you to make that happen.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your domain knowledge directly influences the accuracy and integrity of cutting-edge AI systems.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design Complex Health Scenarios — Develop advanced public health problems involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, and biostatistical interpretation of clinical trial data
  • Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, evidence-based responses that synthesize peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and current guidelines from bodies like the CDC and WHO
  • Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for accuracy, bias, logical consistency, and adherence to ethical standards
  • Refine AI Reasoning — Provide structured feedback that helps AI distinguish correlation from causation, communicate health risks accurately, and respond appropriately to diverse population needs

Who You Are

  • Holds a Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), or closely related graduate degree
  • Strong foundational knowledge in at least two of the following: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy
  • Skilled at translating complex health data into clear, actionable, and culturally sensitive written communication
  • Detail-oriented — precise when checking statistical significance, data citations, and intervention logic
  • No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or review systems
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
  • Background in health communication, clinical research coordination, or public health surveillance

Why Join Us

  • Work directly with industry-leading large language models on high-impact health AI projects
  • Fully remote and asynchronous — work on your own schedule
  • Freelance flexibility: high autonomy, global reach, and variety in your work
  • Ongoing contract opportunities for strong contributors
  • Make a meaningful contribution to how AI handles public health information responsibly
