Job description

Health Policy & Management — AI Content Specialist

About the Role

Your public health expertise is needed where it matters most — at the frontier of AI development. Alignerr partners with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, safer AI systems. We're looking for Masters in Public Health (MPH) graduates and public health professionals to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models on health policy, epidemiology, and evidence-based medicine.

This is your opportunity to directly shape how AI understands and communicates population health — ensuring the next generation of AI gets it right.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week (flexible)

What You'll Do

  • Design Complex Public Health Scenarios — Create advanced, realistic challenges involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, and statistical interpretation of clinical trials that push AI to its limits.
  • Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step responses that draw on peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and authoritative guidelines (CDC, WHO, and beyond).
  • Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for factual accuracy, ethical alignment, and hidden bias. Flag misinformation and close logical gaps in AI health reasoning.
  • Refine AI Reasoning — Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI distinguish correlation from causation, communicate health risks clearly, and serve diverse populations equitably.

Who You Are

  • Advanced Degree: You hold an MPH, MSPH, or closely related graduate degree in public health.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge in at least two of the following — Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy.
  • Analytical Writer: You can translate complex health data into clear, accurate, and culturally sensitive written communication.
  • Detail-Oriented: You catch statistical errors, missing citations, and flawed logic in health interventions.
  • No prior AI experience required — your public health expertise is what matters most.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or research coordination
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
  • Background in health communication, clinical research, or public health surveillance

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside the world's leading AI research labs
  • Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule, anywhere
  • Freelance perks: high autonomy, variety, and global collaboration
  • Meaningful work that directly improves how AI handles real-world health information
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract renewals
