AI & Data Training Contractor · Part-time
Remote (Global) $35 – $55/hr May 27, 2026

Job description

Health Policy & Management - AI Content Specialist

About the Role

Your public health expertise is more valuable than ever — and not just in traditional settings. Alignerr partners with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, safer AI models, and we need MPH-level specialists to help get health right.

As a Health Policy & Management AI Content Specialist, you'll work directly with cutting-edge large language models, stress-testing their understanding of epidemiology, health policy, biostatistics, and global health equity. Your contributions will shape how AI communicates life-critical health information to millions of people.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role — work on your schedule, on projects that matter.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design Complex Public Health Scenarios — Create advanced challenges involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, and statistical interpretation of clinical trials to push AI reasoning to its limits
  • Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step responses that synthesize peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and authoritative guidelines (CDC, WHO, and others)
  • Audit AI-Generated Health Content — Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, bias, ethical alignment, and logical consistency — catching misinformation before it spreads
  • Sharpen AI Reasoning — Provide structured, expert feedback that helps models distinguish correlation from causation, and communicate health risks clearly across diverse populations

Who You Are

  • Holds a Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), or a closely related graduate degree
  • Strong foundational knowledge in at least two core areas: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy
  • Skilled at translating complex health data into clear, actionable, and culturally sensitive written content
  • Detail-oriented — precise when evaluating statistical significance, data citations, and the logic of health interventions
  • No prior AI experience required — we'll get you up to speed

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or content review workflows
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
  • Background in health communication, clinical research coordination, or public health surveillance

Why Join Us

  • Work on high-impact projects with industry-leading AI research teams
  • Fully remote and asynchronous — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance advantages: autonomy, flexibility, and global collaboration
  • Meaningful work that directly influences how AI handles public health information
  • Potential for ongoing contract renewals and expanded project involvement
