AI & Data Training Contractor · Part-time
Remote (Global) $35 – $55/hr May 27, 2026

Job description

Health Policy & Management — AI Content Specialist

About the Role

Your public health expertise is more valuable than ever — and not just in traditional settings. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to build models that millions of people will rely on for health information and policy analysis.

We're looking for Masters-level public health professionals to help ensure those models get it right. You'll stress-test AI reasoning across epidemiology, biostatistics, health equity, and policy — catching errors, closing gaps, and setting the standard for what accurate, evidence-based health AI looks like.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI experience needed — just deep public health knowledge and sharp analytical instincts.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design complex public health scenarios — including disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, and statistical interpretation of clinical trials — to challenge and stress-test AI models
  • Author ground-truth solutions that synthesize peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and current guidelines (CDC, WHO, and beyond)
  • Audit AI-generated health content for accuracy, bias, and ethical alignment — identifying misinformation, flawed logic, and gaps in health reasoning
  • Refine model reasoning by providing structured feedback that helps AI distinguish correlation from causation, communicate risk clearly, and address diverse population needs

Who You Are

  • Hold a Masters in Public Health (MPH), MSPH, or closely related graduate degree
  • Have strong foundational knowledge in at least two of: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy
  • Can translate complex health data into clear, culturally sensitive, and actionable written content
  • Are precise and detail-oriented when evaluating statistical significance, data citations, and the logic of health interventions
  • No prior AI experience required — we'll get you up to speed

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or research coordination
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
  • Background in health communication, clinical research, or public health monitoring

Why Join Us

  • Work on some of the most impactful AI projects in the world — your expertise directly shapes how AI handles health information at scale
  • Fully remote and asynchronous — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance flexibility: high autonomy, no rigid schedules, and global collaboration
  • Ongoing contract opportunities for strong contributors
  • Be at the frontier of AI and public health — a space that's only growing
