Dutch Language Expert (AI Training)

About the Role

What if your fluency in Dutch could directly influence how AI communicates with millions of people? We're looking for Dutch language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on Dutch-language content. Your linguistic insight will shape how AI understands, generates, and communicates in Dutch — making a real and lasting impact on the language's future in technology.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience required — just a deep command of Dutch and a sharp eye for quality.

What You'll Do

  • Review AI-generated Dutch translations and original content for accuracy and naturalness
  • Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches, or cultural issues
  • Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate Dutch
  • Provide structured, detailed feedback on linguistic and cultural quality
  • Work independently and asynchronously — on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Native or near-native fluency in Dutch
  • Strong written communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Solid command of contemporary Dutch usage across different registers and contexts
  • Comfortable evaluating written language quality at scale
  • Detail-oriented and consistent in your assessments
  • No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

  • Background in translation, localization, editing, or linguistics
  • Familiarity with AI or language evaluation workflows
  • Awareness of regional Dutch variations (Netherlands, Belgium, etc.)
