Role Overview
Join our customer's team as a Luganda Language Expert and contribute to the advancement of AI-driven language technologies.
In this role, you will leverage your linguistic expertise to improve the quality, accuracy, and cultural relevance of Luganda language data used in AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate, edit, and proofread content between Luganda and English
- Ensure linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance in all outputs
- Curate, review, and annotate datasets for AI training
- Collaborate with teams to develop Luganda language resources
- Provide feedback on NLP outputs to improve AI performance
- Create linguistic guidelines and documentation
- Identify patterns, errors, and gaps in AI-generated content
- Support development of Luganda digital language assets
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Fluent proficiency in Luganda
- Strong experience in editing, translation, or linguistic QA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
