What is Total Life?
Total Life is online therapy built for adults 65 and older and covered by Medicare, with sessions by phone or video from home and licensed therapists who specialise in late-life mental health. Neelam Brar founded it in 2021 after her grandmother could not find a therapist who took Medicare. It has helped more than 10,000 older adults across all 50 states, and is expanding into longevity medicine and psychiatry.
Qualifications
Total Life mostly hires licensed clinicians for telehealth: psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, therapists and RNs, each holding a licence in a named US state, often part-time or on contract. It also hires a few sales and operations roles, such as cold callers who book meetings with US healthcare offices.
