What is TaskVerse?

TaskVerse is a crowdsourcing platform founded in 2020 and operated by TaskUs, an outsourcing and innovation specialist headquartered in New Braunfels, Texas. The platform connects a global community of freelancers ("Taskers") with microtasks that support AI development for disruptive companies. Tasks span voice recording, writing prompts, image labeling and annotation, data labeling and collection, content review, word tagging, audio transcription, video collection (hand gestures, facial expressions), search result evaluation, shop validation, and AI prompt rewriting. These tasks directly train and improve AI software for third-party companies across speech recognition, computer vision, and NLP. TaskVerse operates on a fully remote, flexible model — Taskers choose their own schedule and work from anywhere. Payments are processed weekly (Thursdays US time) via PayPal with no minimum withdrawal threshold. Training is provided for advanced tasks.

No prior experience or special skills are required to join TaskVerse, making it highly accessible. Users must register with personal details, location, and language preferences. Completing a detailed profile — including experience, skills, device information, and educational background — helps match Taskers with suitable projects. A stable internet connection and a PC or smartphone are the basic technical requirements. Some tasks may require being at least 18 years old. Individual tasks may have specific requirements based on the project (e.g., language fluency, specific device type). Earnings vary by task, typically ranging from $10–$50 per task, with some tasks paying around $1.88 per prompt. Task availability can be inconsistent depending on current project demands. Keeping payment details updated is important to avoid payout delays.
