Qualifications
No specialized skills are required to participate. Contributors need a smartphone or computer with a microphone and internet access. For noise data collection, the Silencio app records anonymized decibel data (no actual audio or personal data is stored). For AI voice training tasks, users record their voice for approximately 30 seconds to help train language and dialect recognition models. Being multilingual is an advantage for earning potential. Users must be at least 18 years old and create a profile on the platform. Earnings come through the $SLC crypto token via monthly raffles — in-app "Noise Coins" earned from data collection serve as raffle tickets. Contributors can boost earnings through streak multipliers (up to 250% after 100 days), referral bonuses (200 coins each plus 20% of referred user's measurement earnings), venue check-ins, and completing quests. The platform is fully remote and available globally.
