What is Passport?

Passport helps ecommerce brands sell internationally. Its platform covers localized checkout with local currencies and payment methods, duties and taxes, and international delivery through its own carrier network, and in 2021 it added in-country fulfillment by acquiring Access Worldwide. Passport was founded in 2017 by Alex Yancher, its CEO, and Aaron Schwartz, and is based in San Francisco. It raised a $12 million Series A led by M13 and a $39 million Series B in January 2022 led by TCV, with Flexport, FJ Labs and Pure Imagination participating, for roughly $54 million in total. In May 2026, Global-e, the publicly listed cross-border ecommerce company, agreed to acquire Passport for $350 million upfront plus up to $75 million tied to Passport's 2026 results. Later reporting says the deal has closed and that Passport now runs as a division of Global-e, with Yancher as its CEO. Passport was expected to generate about $100 million in revenue in 2026. Its open roles are all remote, spread across the United States, Mexico and Egypt, in sales, account management, operations, finance and data.

Mission & values

Make international ecommerce as easy as selling at home, from checkout to delivery.

Qualifications

Passport's openings on 17 October 2026 were all remote and split by country. In the United States: Strategic Account Manager for third-party logistics (3PL) partners, Account Executive, and Senior Analyst of Financial Operations. In Mexico: Analytics Engineer or Data Analyst, Freight Operations Specialist for in-country enablement, SMB Customer Success Manager, and Pricing Analyst. In Egypt: Customer Experience Associate. Experience in international shipping, freight, ecommerce, or logistics software is the strongest signal across these roles, because the work is about getting parcels across borders reliably and selling that service to brands. Sales and account roles call for B2B experience with ecommerce merchants or logistics buyers. Data and pricing roles call for SQL and analytical work on shipping and pricing data. Operations roles involve carriers, customs and fulfillment partners. Roles are tied to the country named in the posting, so check that you are based there. Note that Passport is now part of Global-e, so benefits and policies may follow Global-e's.
