This role is focused on driving high-impact, complex sales within the public sector, building trusted relationships with government leaders and decision-makers. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and consultative engagement to closing multi-million-dollar deals. The position requires a strong ability to navigate long sales cycles, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and deliver tailored product demonstrations. You will represent solutions that help modernize and improve government services, contributing directly to more efficient and accessible public operations. This is a field-oriented, relationship-driven role with significant autonomy, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. With approximately 40% travel across the U.S., you will engage directly with clients, attend industry events, and strengthen long-term partnerships that drive sustained business growth.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline focused on government clients and public sector organizations.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with elected officials and key decision-makers.
  • Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Conduct consultative, solution-oriented selling tailored to complex client needs.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and in-person meetings to generate and advance opportunities.
  • Drive customer success by ensuring satisfied, referenceable clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine proposals and improve sales effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales with a proven track record of closing new business and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in B2G (business-to-government) or public sector sales is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, consultative sales cycles.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Highly results-oriented with a strong work ethic and persistence in achieving targets.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40% of the time across the United States.
  • Strong teamwork mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Proficiency with basic business tools, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email systems.
  • Excellent follow-up, organizational, and pipeline management skills.
