Role Overview
Join a leading AI lab's cutting-edge Generative AI team and help build the next generation of Large Language Models (LLMs).
This opportunity is designed for experienced Finance professionals with deep domain expertise and hands-on experience evaluating AI model outputs using structured rubrics. You will help improve the financial reasoning capabilities of frontier AI models by designing realistic finance tasks, evaluating model responses, and developing high-quality evaluation frameworks grounded in real-world financial practice.
This is a W-2 employment opportunity through Cincinnatus LLC, with placement at a leading AI laboratory as part of its extended workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Support AI Financial Reasoning
- Help research and engineering teams improve AI reasoning across financial analysis, decision-making, and professional judgment.
- Provide domain expertise on real-world finance scenarios.
Design Finance Evaluation Tasks
- Create challenging finance tasks based on practical industry experience.
- Develop accurate, well-reasoned solutions reflecting real financial workflows.
Evaluate AI Model Outputs
- Assess AI-generated responses using structured scoring rubrics.
- Provide detailed written feedback on:
- Accuracy
- Financial reasoning
- Professional judgment
- Completeness
Develop Evaluation Guidelines
- Create and refine finance-specific evaluation guidelines.
- Design scoring rubrics that improve consistency and quality across AI training data.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts
- Work with researchers, engineers, and other finance experts to improve evaluation quality and maintain consistent standards.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of professional experience in finance, including areas such as:
- Investment Banking
- Asset Management
- Corporate Finance
- Financial Advisory
Experience at a recognized organization such as:
- Goldman Sachs
- JPMorgan
- Morgan Stanley
- BlackRock
- Fidelity
- Deloitte
- PwC
- EY
- KPMG
- Equivalent leading financial institution
Prior hands-on experience evaluating LLM or AI model outputs using structured rubrics or scoring criteria (required).
Demonstrated career progression (for example: Analyst → Associate → Vice President → Director).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Available to work at least 35 hours per week during weekdays.
