Data Analyst, Product
Job description
1Password is growing. We’ve surpassed $400M in ARR and we’re continuing to accelerate, earning a spot on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four years in a row and teaming up with iconic partners like Oracle Red Bull Racing.
About 1Password
At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human-centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work.
If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
We're looking for a Product Analyst to join our centralized Analytics team and help us better understand how our customers experience 1Password. You'll work closely with senior analysts and cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, and Design to support feature measurement, build reports, and help the business make data-informed decisions. This is a role for someone early in their analytics career who is naturally curious, eager to grow, and excited to work on problems that matter.
How we're using AI today
On the Analytics team, we're thoughtfully embedding AI into how we work with data. That looks like using AI to accelerate SQL development, pressure-test interpretations, turn complex datasets into clear executive narratives, and increasingly, building Generative BI applications that let stakeholders explore and interrogate data on their own. We approach AI the same way we approach data quality: with clear standards, human accountability at every consequential decision, and a commitment to getting it right before it influences the business. As a Product Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to learn alongside experienced practitioners and develop a strong foundation in how modern analytics teams use AI responsibly.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
- Naturally curious and motivated to ask good questions, dig into data, and keep learning
- 2+ years of experience working with data in an analytics, BI, or product context
- Working knowledge of SQL, with a growing ability to write and troubleshoot queries independently
- Familiarity with clickstream and behavioral event tracking tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel
- Experience building or contributing to dashboards in a BI tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- A developing ability to conduct, interpret, and communicate diagnostic analysis
- Some exposure to A/B or A/A testing concepts and how they're used to measure product changes
- Attention to detail and good instincts around data quality
- Able to clearly communicate progress, blockers, and findings to teammates and stakeholders
- Comfortable seeking out help, asking clarifying questions, and partnering with others to solve problems
- Nice to have: beginner-level Python or R, familiarity with event taxonomy or instrumentation design, exposure to SaaS or Enterprise product environments
- Nice to have: Familiarity with modern AI or BI tools (Omni, Claude, Dust, Hex, or similar)
What you can expect:
- Ownership of discrete, well-defined analytics projects from start to finish, with guidance from senior analysts
- Building and maintaining dashboards that help Product and Technology teams track progress against their objectives, developed collaboratively with your manager and senior teammates
- Working with clickstream and behavioral data, including Amplitude, to understand how users move through the product
- Support for your work on feature measurement and A/B testing, with increasing independence as you grow
- Active mentorship from senior and staff analysts invested in your technical and professional development
- Opportunities to contribute to team knowledge sharing, documentation, and onboarding new team members
- A clear path to grow into a Senior Product Analyst role as your scope, autonomy, and impact expand
- A team where data genuinely drives decisions, and your work connects directly to what stakeholders care about
- Thoughtful conversations about how to balance analytical insight with respect for user privacy, a core part of how 1Password operates
