This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Acquisition Management Support III / Contract Administrator based in the United States.

This role supports critical defense acquisition and procurement operations within a highly regulated federal environment.
You will play a key part in managing contract documentation, analyzing procurement data, and ensuring acquisition activities align with federal regulations and Navy standards.
The position involves close coordination between government stakeholders, program managers, and contracting teams to ensure procurement packages are accurate, complete, and compliant.
You will contribute to improving acquisition efficiency, quality, and lifecycle management of defense-related contracts and technical packages.
The environment is structured, detail-oriented, and mission-driven, requiring strong analytical and organizational discipline.
You will also support compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations while helping maintain documentation integrity and acquisition readiness.

Accountabilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and track procurement data and acquisition packages to improve quality, efficiency, and scheduling outcomes.
  • Gather acquisition requirements from government technical authorities to support planning and resource allocation.
  • Prepare and maintain technical data packages (TDPs) for procurement and contracting activities.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical documentation libraries for acquisition and contract records.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, NMCARS, and Navy acquisition policies and quality assurance standards.
  • Serve as liaison between program managers, technical authorities, and Navy contracting personnel.
  • Support development of acquisition policies, procedures, and process improvements.
  • Assist in coordinating multiple procurement tasks while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field from an accredited institution.
  • 7–10 years of experience in acquisition management, contract administration, or procurement support.
  • Active U.S. Secret Clearance required.
  • Strong understanding of FAR and DFARS regulations and federal acquisition processes.
  • Experience supporting defense or government procurement environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work across multiple stakeholders and teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based government systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a structured, compliance-driven environment.
