Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst (AI Training)
About the Role
Alignerr partners with the world's leading AI research teams and labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. We're looking for hands-on infrastructure security practitioners to bring real-world expertise to frontier AI development.
In this role, you'll analyze, classify, and evaluate realistic enterprise security scenarios — helping AI systems learn how threats, controls, and failures actually behave in production environments. Your field experience doesn't just inform reports — it directly shapes how the next generation of AI understands cybersecurity.

What You'll Do
- Analyze network, endpoint, and email security scenarios across modern enterprise stacks
- Review firewall, EDR, and infrastructure security cases to determine what went wrong and why
- Classify incidents, misconfigurations, and control failures based on real operational data
- Create, label, and validate security training and evaluation datasets used to improve AI systems
- Clearly articulate root causes, attack paths, and business impact in structured formats
- Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments
Who You Are
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security roles
- Solid familiarity with firewalls, EDR platforms, email security, IAM, SIEMs, and enterprise tooling
- Strong understanding of how real organizations deploy and operate security controls
- Ability to clearly explain complex security issues, root causes, and business impact to a technical audience
- Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to analysis and documentation
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on flexible schedules
Nice to Have
- Experience in SOC, incident response, threat hunting, or red/blue team operations
- Familiarity with common frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or CIS Controls
- Background in security engineering, network architecture, or cloud security
- Prior experience with AI, data labeling, or evaluation workflows
