This role is centered on driving complex enterprise sales within the rapidly evolving space of data platforms, AI infrastructure, and knowledge systems. You will be responsible for originating and closing high-value consulting and implementation engagements that help organizations modernize their data foundations and prepare for AI-driven operations. The position combines strategic advisory selling with hands-on deal execution across multi-stakeholder enterprise environments. You will engage directly with senior decision-makers, translating business challenges into structured transformation opportunities. This is a highly entrepreneurial role where pipeline creation, opportunity shaping, and full-cycle ownership are essential. Accountabilities:
- Originate and close new enterprise business across data modernization, AI infrastructure, knowledge architecture, and enterprise data consulting services.
- Lead discovery conversations with senior stakeholders to translate complex data challenges into measurable business and operational outcomes.
- Manage full-cycle sales processes, including prospecting, solution shaping, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Navigate complex, multi-threaded enterprise buying groups using structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC.
- Partner closely with technical and delivery teams to co-develop solutions and define statements of work aligned with client needs.
- Co-sell with technology ecosystem partners to expand pipeline and accelerate deal velocity.
- Leverage AI tools and modern sales technologies to enhance prospecting, outreach, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Maintain disciplined forecasting, pipeline accuracy, and consistent achievement of revenue targets.
- Engage in occasional travel across North America to support client relationships and deal progression.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience in data platforms, analytics, data consulting, AI infrastructure, or related professional services.
- Proven track record of closing complex, long-cycle deals in the 6- to 7-figure range.
- Strong domain understanding of data architecture, knowledge systems, semantic search, or AI/data infrastructure.
- Ability to engage credibly with senior executives such as CDOs, CTOs, CIOs, and VP-level data and digital leaders.
- Demonstrated success in independently sourcing pipeline and building momentum in emerging or growing market segments.
- Experience with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or similar frameworks.
- Ability to collaborate with delivery teams to define scope, manage risk, and support statement-of-work development.
- Comfort using AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency across the sales lifecycle.
- Strong organizational discipline, self-direction, and ability to operate in ambiguous, evolving environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across complex enterprise organizations.
