Job Summary

As a Kurdish Language Expert, you will leverage your linguistic expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through translation, editing, linguistic analysis, data annotation, and language quality evaluation tasks.

Your contributions will help AI systems better understand, generate, and reason in Kurdish across various dialects and cultural contexts. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

Translation & Language Review

  • Translate content between Kurdish and English
  • Proofread and edit Kurdish text
  • Ensure linguistic accuracy and natural fluency
  • Maintain terminology standards across projects

Linguistic Analysis

  • Provide expert analysis of Kurdish language structures
  • Identify linguistic patterns, ambiguities, and nuances
  • Support AI understanding of grammar, syntax, semantics, and usage

AI Training Data Support

  • Annotate and review language datasets
  • Evaluate AI-generated Kurdish content
  • Support training-data development and refinement

Cultural & Linguistic Consulting

  • Provide insights into Kurdish cultural context
  • Advise teams on dialect differences and regional usage
  • Help ensure culturally appropriate language generation

Required Qualifications

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Kurdish
  • Professional-level English proficiency
  • Deep understanding of Kurdish grammar, writing conventions, idiomatic expressions, regional variations, and cultural nuances
  • Demonstrated experience in translation, editing, proofreading, linguistic analysis, language review, and content quality evaluation

Preferred Qualifications
