About the Role
This is a remote, hourly contractor role for experienced Corporate Finance professionals contributing to an AI research project with a leading foundational model laboratory.
You will leverage your expertise in financial modeling, financial analysis, and corporate finance workflows to help train and evaluate frontier AI systems. Your work will involve applying real-world finance knowledge to support advanced AI reasoning across financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and business decision-making tasks.
Pay: $100/hr | Commitment: Minimum 10 hours/week | Minimum Duration: 4 weeks
Key Responsibilities
Financial Modeling
- Apply professional financial modeling expertise to real-world business scenarios
- Build, analyze, and validate financial models
- Evaluate assumptions, forecasts, and financial outcomes
Financial Analysis
- Analyze company financial performance
- Review financial statements and business metrics
- Assess financial trends, risks, and opportunities
- Support data-driven business decision-making
Financial Reporting
- Review and interpret financial reports
- Evaluate reporting accuracy and consistency
- Apply financial reporting best practices and standards
Corporate Finance Research
Contribute expertise across forecasting, budgeting, business performance analysis, strategic finance, financial planning, and capital allocation.
AI Training & Evaluation
- Help improve AI reasoning within corporate finance workflows
- Contribute domain expertise to research and evaluation projects
- Produce high-quality outputs aligned with real-world finance practices
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional corporate finance experience
- Professional experience with financial modeling
- Experience in financial reporting and/or financial analysis
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent written communication and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with FP&A, corporate strategy, budgeting and forecasting, financial statement analysis, business valuation, or performance reporting
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise
- Experience supporting executive decision-making
