About the Role
Mercor is recruiting France-based Finance Professionals to support a research initiative with a leading frontier AI laboratory. Selected experts will apply their finance expertise to help train, evaluate, and improve advanced AI systems operating in financial domains.
This role is designed for professionals with experience at top-tier investment organizations, including hedge funds, private equity firms, investment banks, venture capital firms, and equity research organizations.
Pay: $80–$100/hr | Commitment: Minimum 10 hours/week | Minimum Duration: 4 weeks
Key Responsibilities
Financial Expertise for AI Research
- Apply professional finance knowledge to AI training and evaluation tasks
- Review and assess finance-related outputs generated by AI systems
- Help improve model understanding of financial concepts, analysis, and reasoning
Financial Analysis
- Analyze investment scenarios and financial information
- Evaluate financial reasoning and decision-making processes
- Review valuation methodologies and investment frameworks
AI Evaluation & Quality Review
- Assess model responses for accuracy, financial correctness, analytical rigor, and logical consistency
- Identify weaknesses and failure modes in AI-generated financial analysis
- Provide structured feedback to improve model performance
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience at leading firms in hedge funds, private equity, investment banking, equity research, or venture capital
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, investment evaluation, capital markets, valuation, corporate finance, and financial modeling
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, financial judgment, and written communication
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
