About the Role

Mercor is seeking expert evaluators with deep experience in humanities, arts, and cultural studies to assess AI-generated work products for accuracy, rigor, and domain quality.

This is a remote, hourly contract opportunity focused on reviewing documents, spreadsheets, and presentation decks produced by AI systems.

Evaluators will apply real-world expertise in humanities, arts, and culture to determine whether outputs meet professional standards, demonstrate sound critical reasoning, and accurately reflect historical, cultural, artistic, literary, and social contexts.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate AI-generated artifacts including:

- Documents

- Spreadsheets

- Slide decks

  • Assess outputs using domain-specific quality rubrics
  • Review work for:

- Factual accuracy

- Cultural sensitivity

- Scholarly rigor

- Domain quality

- Professional presentation

  • Identify:

- Historical inaccuracies

- Cultural misrepresentations

- Analytical weaknesses

- Presentation flaws

- Aesthetic issues

- Logical inconsistencies

  • Provide clear and structured written feedback
  • Apply professional judgment when evaluating humanities, arts, and culture-related content

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in:

- Humanities

- Arts

- Cultural Studies

- History

- Literature

- Philosophy

- Museums & Heritage

- Related disciplines

  • Native or professional fluency in English
  • Strong analytical and evaluation skills
  • Ability to assess humanities and cultural materials objectively and consistently

Technical Requirements

  • Highly proficient with:

- Microsoft Office

Analysis Tools
