Senior Program Manager

MANTECH is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support Department of Homeland Security (DHS) initiatives in a fully remote environment.

This role focuses on leading large-scale federal programs involving:

• Strategic program oversight
• Agile delivery
• Stakeholder management
• Contract execution
• Team leadership
• Federal technology initiatives

The position is designed for experienced program leaders capable of managing complex, multi-project federal engagements while driving operational excellence, measurable ROI, and successful delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic oversight for high-priority federal projects involving:

  • Planning
  • Staffing
  • Budgeting
  • Performance management
  • Delivery coordination

• Manage the lifecycle of complex multi-task programs and contractual deliverables

• Translate technical milestones into measurable business value and ROI reporting

• Gather and document:

  • Business cases
  • Outcome validations
  • Program performance metrics

• Mentor and develop multidisciplinary contractor and subcontractor teams

• Establish and enforce:

  • Work standards
  • Quality assurance processes
  • Organizational goals

• Coordinate:

  • Risks
  • Opportunities
  • Stakeholder communications
  • Executive reporting

• Manage:

  • Contract performance
  • Staffing levels
  • Scope management
  • Program growth initiatives

• Apply Agile SDLC expertise using tools such as:

  • Jira
  • Azure DevOps
  • MS Project
  • SharePoint

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing:

  • Large-scale federal programs
  • Multi-project initiatives
  • Government customers

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

• PMP certification required

• Advanced proficiency with:

  • MS Project
  • Jira
  • Azure DevOps
  • SharePoint

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Agile methodologies
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Federal program management

• Excellent:

  • Client-facing communication
  • Presentation skills
  • Stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as:

  • CSM (Certified Scrum Master)
  • PMI-ACP

• Experience with:

  • OneStream
  • SaaS implementations
  • Government budgeting processes

Clearance Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation range: $137,100 – $244,100 annually
