Product Operations Specialist
The Product & Regulatory Operations org is a vital part of Meta's commitment to user and business safety on its platforms, delivering operations for emerging and critical priorities across Meta and Global Operations and in close partnership with product/eng, legal and XFN stakeholders.
As a Product Operations Specialist, you will work on projects that will help drive growth, engagement, and quality of Meta’s products. We are looking for experienced professionals with strong product sense, who can work with cross functional teams in complex, multi-platform efforts to improve experience through data analysis and storytelling, while maintaining clarity of product vision and organizational awareness.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the launch, testing, implementation, or iteration of technical activities in support of tooling, systems, and operations.
Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
Work with Program / Project Managers across multiple programs to support the needs of the business.
Identify opportunities in existing processes to streamline, optimize, and standardize processes
Assist with the development of standards, and apply these to track, monitor, report, resolve, or escalate issues.
Effectively managing, developing, and training the larger team on new processes.
Ensuring that all processes used by the global team are thoroughly documented and regularly improved.
Conducting, analyzing, and sharing results from service and operation performance reviews.
Coordinating and managing all relevant stakeholders, including internal and external POCs, across project documentation and materials
Systematically interprets user problems and identifies solutions and possible side effects.
Consult or negotiate with vendors to prepare project specifications; flexible with international timezones if needed
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in operations for a tech company, consulting, operations or similar roles
Prior annotation experience is highly valued
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive feedback
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing efficiency and effectiveness in launch and production
Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and the software development lifecycle
Strong ability to take both a narrow focused view and a high level systems view to understand and articulate implications of small changes to overall systems, and vice versa
Strong ability to interpret and translate operational requirements into technical needs
Strong knowledge of computer software, such as SQL, Google Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc), Visio, Lucid Charts, etc.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, data science, AI/ML, or a related field
Master’s degree preferred
PMI or PMP certification preferred
Certification in AI/ML very preferred
Certification in data annotation or data labeling very preferred

The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $51.44/hour - $64.30/hour.
