About the Role
What if your ability to think critically, spot bias, and consider multiple perspectives could directly shape how AI behaves — for millions of people worldwide?
We're looking for AI Ethics Reviewers to evaluate AI-generated content for bias, safety issues, and ethical concerns. Your judgment will help ensure the AI systems powering today's most important products are fair, responsible, and safe for everyone. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to thoughtful, curious people from any background. No formal ethics or AI experience required.

What You'll Do
- Review AI-generated content and outputs for potential bias, stereotypes, and harmful material
- Evaluate whether AI responses are safe, appropriate, and inclusive for diverse audiences
- Flag ethical concerns and provide clear, structured written feedback
- Apply fairness and safety guidelines consistently across a wide range of topics and content types
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Genuinely interested in fairness, social impact, ethics, or responsible technology
- Strong critical thinker who can hold and evaluate multiple perspectives at once
- Attentive to nuance, cultural context, and the ways content can land differently across audiences
- Clear and precise written communicator
- Self-motivated and consistent in task-based, independent work
- No formal background in AI, ethics, or academia required
Nice to Have
- Experience in social sciences, philosophy, journalism, policy, education, or community advocacy
- Familiarity with AI tools or content moderation workflows
- Awareness of issues around algorithmic bias, content safety, or digital equity
