Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst (AI Training)
About the Role
Identity is at the heart of most modern security failures — and the AI systems being built today need to understand that reality. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to develop frontier AI models, and we're looking for IAM professionals who can bring real-world expertise to that mission.
You'll work with realistic enterprise identity and access scenarios, helping AI systems learn how IAM risk actually emerges, propagates, and gets exploited. This is your opportunity to put your security knowledge to work in a high-impact, fully remote freelance role.

What You'll Do
- Analyze IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to identify weaknesses, misconfigurations, and privilege escalation paths
- Classify permission issues and identity-related failures across realistic enterprise environments
- Review zero-trust architecture decisions and access design models for accuracy and risk
- Generate and validate realistic identity security data used to train and evaluate AI systems
- Provide structured feedback that helps AI reason more accurately about enterprise security risk
Who You Are
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms
- Solid understanding of RBAC, least-privilege principles, and access review processes
- Familiar with how identity failures occur and how attackers exploit them
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working independently
- Able to communicate technical findings clearly in written form
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud identity platforms (Okta, Azure AD, AWS IAM, etc.)
- Background in penetration testing, red teaming, or security architecture
- Familiarity with zero-trust frameworks or identity governance tools
- Prior exposure to AI training or data labeling workflows
