Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst
Job description
Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst (AI Training)
About the Role
Identity sits at the heart of modern enterprise security — and when it breaks, the consequences are serious. We're looking for IAM professionals who understand how and why identity systems fail in the real world, and who want to put that knowledge to work on something genuinely meaningful.
At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, more capable AI systems. As an IAM Analyst, you'll work with realistic identity and access scenarios to help AI models reason accurately about how security risks emerge, propagate, and can be mitigated.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role — work on your schedule, on your terms.

- Classify permission issues, privilege escalation paths, and identity-related security failures
- Review zero-trust architectures and access design decisions for accuracy and soundness
- Generate and validate realistic identity security data used to train and evaluate frontier AI models
- Provide structured expert feedback that directly improves how AI reasons about enterprise security
Who You Are
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms
- Solid understanding of RBAC, least-privilege principles, and access review processes
- Familiar with how identity failures occur in real environments and how attackers exploit them
- Able to think like both a defender and an adversary when evaluating access scenarios
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working asynchronously
Nice to Have
- Experience with platforms like Okta, Azure AD, CyberArk, SailPoint, or similar
- Background in security consulting, cloud IAM, or enterprise risk management
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, Zero Trust, or MITRE ATT&CK
- Prior work in AI, data annotation, or security research
