About The Role
Our client partners with fast-growing e-commerce brands, providing specialist support that helps
businesses scale efficiently. We're looking for an experienced E-commerce Account Manager
who understands Shopify inside and out and can build strong relationships with clients while
delivering exceptional account management.
As an E-commerce Account Manager, you'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of
Shopify merchants, ensuring projects are delivered smoothly and clients receive outstanding
support. You'll combine your technical Shopify knowledge with excellent communication skills to
guide clients through store setup, optimisation and ongoing account management.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage a portfolio of e-commerce clients, building long-term relationships.
● Lead client onboarding and Shopify store setup projects.
● Configure Shopify stores, including products, collections, navigation, shipping, taxes and payment gateways.
● Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
● Provide strategic guidance to clients on Shopify best practices.
● Troubleshoot store issues and recommend practical solutions.
● Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
● Deliver regular client updates and maintain clear communication throughout each project.
● Ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard
Requirements (Essential)
- Previous experience as an Account Manager, Client Success Manager or Project Manager within an e-commerce environment.
- Hands-on experience setting up and configuring Shopify stores from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of Shopify themes, apps and store settings.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written English communication.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Requirements (Desirable)
- Experience with Shopify Plus.
- Knowledge of e-commerce integrations, including ERP, CRM or fulfilment platforms.
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, GA4 or e-commerce reporting.
- Experience working within a digital agency or supporting multiple e-commerce brands.
