Job description

Program Manager (Contract)

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced, execution-focused Experimentation Program Manager to own A/B and multivariate testing end to end within a fast-paced digital consumer sales enablement organization. This role sits at the intersection of data, product, and marketing — driving a rigorous experimentation pipeline across large-scale digital storefronts and web properties. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator who moves quickly, maintains a disciplined work management practice, and brings deep personalization and audience-targeting expertise alongside strong cross-functional program management skills. This is not an advisory role; it demands an execution leader who generates insight, owns velocity, and keeps multiple concurrent experiments moving without hand-holding.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own the full experiment lifecycle from intake, hypothesis definition, and feasibility assessment through launch, monitoring, and analysis handoff.
  • Maintain a leadership-ready roadmap that sequences the experiment pipeline, manages capacity collisions, and surfaces prioritization trade-offs.
  • Keep Azure DevOps tickets complete, current, and accurate as the authoritative source of truth for all active and planned experiments.
  • Partner with three vendor teams to oversee day-to-day experiment tickets, ensure all experiments capture required information, and confirm success metrics are properly instrumented.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with site management, product management, analytics, design, engineering, and merchandising teams to unblock issues and rescope work as needed.
  • Provision access and deployment instructions for experimentation and analytics tooling across the network, including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, ContentSquare, and internal platforms.
  • Define sharp hypotheses with clearly articulated KPIs, guardrail metrics, minimum detectable effects, and estimated test durations.
  • Enforce data-quality discipline throughout experiment execution to ensure clean, trustworthy results.
  • Design personalization and audience-targeting scenarios using segmentation strategies and CDP-integrated tooling.
  • Synthesize experiment results and evidence gaps into actionable, low-lift, high-value test recommendations for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to long-term strategic planning and roadmapping in close collaboration with program leadership.

Requirements:

  • 8–10 years of hands-on experience running A/B and multivariate experiments end to end on consumer web or eCommerce properties.
  • 8–10 years of experience with A/B testing platforms and experimentation toolkits.
  • 8–10 years of experience with Adobe Analytics, Power BI, and Azure DevOps.
  • 8–10 years of experience applying online and digital UX and eCommerce best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience managing concurrent projects with multiple external and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with website personalization programs and audience-targeting platforms, with Adobe Target or CDP exposure strongly preferred.
  • Background in digital marketing, website optimization, or customer experience programs preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • Digital marketing degree preferred but not required.
  • End-to-end A/B/n experiment management on consumer web or eCommerce platforms.
  • Hands-on proficiency with experimentation tooling such as Adobe Target, Azure ExP, Optimizely, AB Tasty, LaunchDarkly, or StatSig.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Analytics and Power BI for performance measurement and reporting.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps for work management, ticket tracking, and pipeline visibility.
  • Personalization and audience segmentation expertise, including targeting scenario design and CDP exposure.
  • Experiment design rigor including hypothesis formulation, KPI and guardrail definition, MDE calculation, and duration planning.
  • Cross-functional program management skills spanning engineering, design, analytics, and merchandising stakeholders.
  • Roadmap sequencing and prioritization with the ability to manage pipeline collisions and capacity constraints.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • High accountability, self-direction under ambiguity, and a bias for action over prolonged alignment cycles.
  • Familiarity with digital UX and eCommerce best practices.
  • Ability to leverage AI tooling to accelerate insight synthesis and reporting is a plus.
