If you thrive in complex product environments and care deeply about design quality from concept to production, this role is for you.</div><div>&nbsp;<strong><br>Scope of Responsibilities:</strong></div><div><br></div><div><strong><u>Technical Leadership &amp; Architecture:</u></strong></div><div><br></div><ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="disc"><li>Act as the technical lead for a scrum team building software deployed on edge devices</li><li>Design and evolve the end‑to‑end architecture, including:<ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="circle"><li>Edge‑hosted software components</li><li>Integration with backend SaaS services</li><li>Security model spanning device, tenant, and cloud</li></ul></li><li>Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and platform standards</li><li>Identify and document technical dependencies for each feature</li><li>Proactively request, negotiate, and follow through on changes to internal dependencies where required</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong><u>System Integration:</u></strong></div><div><br></div><ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="disc"><li>Lead integration with internal teams responsible for (not exhaustive):<ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="circle"><li>Tenant management</li><li>Video ingestion services</li><li>Cloud platform and infrastructure (pipelines, deployment, observability)</li></ul></li><li>Ensure consistent data flows, APIs, authentication, and authorization across edge and cloud systems</li><li>Translate product requirements into technically sound, scalable integration designs</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong><u>Delivery &amp; Scrum Participation</u></strong></div><div><br></div><ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="disc"><li>Lead and actively participate in:<ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="circle"><li>Feature refinement and technical breakdown</li><li>Sprint planning</li><li>Trade‑off discussions during delivery</li></ul></li><li>Provide technical guidance to engineers during implementation</li><li>Maintain a balance between velocity, quality, and architectural sustainability</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong><u>Documentation &amp; Communication</u></strong></div><div><br></div><ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="disc"><li>Produce clear technical documentation, including:<ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="circle"><li>Architecture diagrams and design proposals</li><li>Integration and dependency documentation</li><li>Security and trust boundary descriptions</li></ul></li><li>Present technical proposals and design decisions to:<ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="circle"><li>Engineers</li><li>Product and program stakeholders</li><li>Broader technical leadership when required</li></ul></li><li>Communicate risks, constraints, and trade‑offs clearly and early</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong><u>Required Expertise</u></strong></div><ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="disc"><li>Senior‑level engineering experience with technical leadership responsibilities</li><li>Strong background in distributed systems and system integration</li><li>Proven experience with JavaScript / Node.js, including backend services and full‑stack applications</li><li>Prior work on systems involving video capture, ingestion, or streaming is strongly preferred incl. video encoding and processing on device.</li><li>Experience operating in environments with multiple internal teams and complex dependencies</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong><u>Nice to have:</u></strong></div><ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="disc"><li>XP with regulated indusctries.</li><li>Experience developing software that integrates closely with hardware or edge devices</li></ul><div><br></div><div><br></div></span></span></div><p style="margin-bottom:0cm;"><br></p>
