Job description
AfterQuery is seeking Legal JD Experts to create and refine legal reasoning challenges for AI training models.
In this remote, flexible role, you will design and evaluate legal scenarios that test an AI model's ability to interpret and apply complex legal principles. Your expertise will help improve AI systems by ensuring they can reason through real-world legal issues with accuracy, consistency, and nuance.

Key Responsibilities
Create Legal Reasoning Challenges
- Develop high-quality legal questions and case studies covering topics such as:
- Contract Law
- Constitutional Law
- Intellectual Property
- Other legal practice areas
Evaluate AI Responses
- Review AI-generated legal analyses and reasoning
- Assess responses for:
- Legal accuracy
- Logical consistency
- Application of legal principles
- Completeness
- Clarity
Collaborate with Experts
- Work alongside legal and technical professionals
- Help refine question quality and difficulty
- Ensure training material is accurate, realistic, and educational
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Professional experience in:
- Legal practice
- Legal research
- Academia
Strong understanding of multiple legal disciplines
Excellent:
- Analytical skills
- Written communication
- Verbal communication
- Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Several years of legal practice or significant legal research experience
Experience with:
